Sting wants to protect Coco from Pete Doherty.

Coco Sumner, 17, was seen with Pete Doherty at the Glastonbury music festival. He was inside her tent.

Coco’s friend went to check on her and when the tent was unzipped, witnesses standing nearby said they saw Pete Doherty lying outstretched in Coco’s tent. He was smoking inside the enclosed tent and had filled it up with smoke.

Coco Sumner’s Dad, Sting, was reportedly upset when he heard about Pete and Coco sharing the same tent. Sting did not approve of Coco and Pete Doherty hanging out together, even as he was said to be helping her with her music.

Coco’s debut album will be released in 2009.
