Gary Condit’s lawsuit against Dominick Dunne thrown out.

Gary Condit took out a lawsuit against Dominick Dunne because he thought that Dunne’s comments had slandered him.

The judge in charge of the case threw out Gary Condit’s lawsuit. He ruled that when Dominick Dunne made his comments on Larry King Live, he did not say anything that could be deemed to be on the level of slandering Gary Condit.

On Larry King Live, Dunne said something that suggested Condit might have something to do with the presumed murder of Chandra Levy. Judge Peter Leisure said that in that context of the conversation, Dunne’s comments were about speculation and inaccurate media coverage.

Gary Condit had maintained that he was not responsible for Chandra Levy’s death.
