Camilla Alves gave birth to Matthew McConaughey’s son.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend, Camilla Alves, are now proud parents of a baby boy. Their baby was born on Mon. afternoon, July 7, 2008.

McConaughey’s son weighed 7 lb, 4 oz. The parents have yet to name him. McConaughey had announced Camilla’s pregnancy in January 2008. He wrote in his blog that they were “stoked” and amazed by the miracle of having a baby. He declared that the child was a gift from God.

In his writing, Matthew elaborated that they were excited for the new adventure in raising their child. He wanted to become a father and guide his child through life. He asked for good wishes and prayers.
