Brian Bosworth becomes a rescuer.

Brian Bosworth, aka “the Boz”, has retired from active duty playing football in the Seattle Seahawks but he has not retired from emergency volunteering.

Bosworth helped in the rescue of a female driver. Her SUV flipped over on the Trans-Canada Highway. Bosworth was a motorist along the same road when he saw that paramedics were trying to rescue the woman. He was going fishing with his son. He volunteered his services when he realized they needed more manpower.

The injured driver and her passenger were sent to hospital. They had non-life threatening injuries.

Bosworth and his wife, Katherine Nicastro, have filed for divorce. The couple has 3 children. Bosworth had dabbled in acting too. His last movie role was in The Longest Yard, 2005.
