Roger Federer’s girlfriend, Mirka Vavrinec, watched him lose at Wimbledon.

Gwen Stefani and her husband, Gavin Rossdale went to Wimbledon to watch Roger Federer play tennis. The celebrity couple sat with Roger Federer’s girlfriend, Mirka Vavrinec.

Sadly, their presence and support was insufficient for Federer.

Federer’s opponent, Rafael Nadal, won the men’s singles Wimbledon final with 6-4 6-4 6-7 6-7 9-7. Nadal became the first Spaniard to win the grasscourt Grand Slam title, since Manuel Santana in 1966.

Mirka Vavrinec, aka Miroslava (Mirka) Vavrinec, is an ex tennis player from Switzerland. When she was 9 years old, she was introduced to tennis by Martina Navratilova. Navratilova saw the potential in Vavrinec and she was right. Vavrinec retired from tennis because of a foot injury.
