Abba attends “Mamma Mia!” premiere.

Abba has reunited for the first time in 22 years. The special occasion was for the premiere of the musical, “Mamma Mia!”

The original band members of Abba are Benny Andersson, 61, Agnetha Faltskog, 58, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Bjorn Ulvaeus, 63. Abba sold 370 million records during the band’s active career.

“Mamma Mia!” starred Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan. They were partly responsible for this outstanding show of support for the premiere in Stockholm, Sweden.

Meryl Streep plays the single mother Donna Sheridan. Donna’s daughter is played by Amanda Seyfried. The three boyfriends of Donna are played by Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgard.

Pierce Brosnan joked about wearing Spandex and boots for the movie. He said he enjoyed singing in this musical.
