Dave Matthews Band’s LeRoi Moore recuperates in hospital.

LeRoi Moore, the saxophonist in Dave Matthews Band, is in a serious condition at UVA hospital. He had an all-terrain vehicle accident on his farm on Monday, June 30.

LeRoi Moore was on a short break at his home in Charlottesville after his last show at Nissan Pavilion near Manassas. The UVA spokeswoman, Megan Rowe, said that she could not disclose any additional information.

Rowe clarified that a serious condition meant that the patient’s vital signs may be unstable and he would be considered as being extremely ill. His condition has improved and by late Tue., he was listed as being in a fair condition.

The band’s management has not made any official comment on this accident.
