Katie Lee Joel, the wife of singer Billy Joel, has contributed a special item to The Early Show. This morning news and talk show is aired by CBS from New York City, Mon. through Sat., 7 – 9 am.

Katie Lee Joel’s contribution was on popular, inexpensive presents for the party hostess when you show up at a party. Katie loves hosting gatherings so she knows what appreciation means to the hostess.

For Katie’s first suggestion, she recommended giving your party hostess something that compliments her hobbies and interests. The giver can buy something at a store. Katie’s second suggestion was to make a homemade treat like a food item. The third suggestion was on treats that can be bought from the stores.
