Bon Jovi will give a concert in Central Park in July. This is an advance celebration of the coming All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium.

This concert in Central Park is a free performance. The date has been set for Sat. July 12. Bon Jovi had disclosed this news during an interview in April but it was not official. Today, the news has been confirmed by the city officials.

This concert is a prelude to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium on July 15. After his public contribution, Bon Jovi will play at Madison Square Garden on July 14 and 15.
