Alana Wyatt-Smith’s revealing book on Mos Def.

Alana Wyatt-Smith, 29, has written her memoir called “Breaking the Code of Silence.” This book is about her marriage to Mos Def, the US MC and actor. Alana Wyatt-Smith is a Canadian.

Alana used to work as a stripper. She has a son with Saukrates, a hip hop singer in Toronto. She met Mos Def in 2005 and after 3 days, they got married.

Alana’s book has accounts of her troubled upbringing. She was sexually abused by a relative. When she was a teen, she was beaten unconscious by a violent boyfriend. Alana said that she had disguised the names of many of her celebrity lovers. She only named those who gave her permission to do so. She could not help but name Mos Def, aka Dante Smith. Alana has filed for divorce but he has refused to sign the divorce papers.
