Redmond O’Neal was sentenced for drug offences.

Redmond O’Neal, the son of Ryan O’Neal & Farrah Fawcett, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and methamphetamine. This was in a court in Malibu, California.

Redmond, 23, was in court on Thur. June 26. He was charged with 2 felony counts and a misdemeanor count of DUI of drugs. He pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal. As a consequence, a second DUI charge was dropped.

Redmond O’Neal was arrested on Jan. 26 when he was stopped by police for speeding on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. O’Neal had 3 years of probation on the misdemeanor charge. He was given a fine of $1,700. He has to remain in a drug treatment program until the next hearing in July.
