Lynsi Smigo, Opie/Gregg Hughes’ fiancée, sues for sex tape story.

Gregg Hughes, aka Opie, from the radio show called Opie and Anthony, has a fiancée. She is Lynsi Smigo and she is suing Page Six for a story they printed in April 2008.

The story claimed that Lynsi Smigo did a sex tape with Bam Margera. This claim was retracted much later, after the story was published. Lynsi has hired Crowell & Moring, a lawyer firm that does not specialize in defamation lawsuits. The law firm has filed a suit that rests on the illegal use of Lynsi Smigo’s name for the purposes of promoting the magazine’s interest. Lynsi is asking for $10 million in damages.

Chaunce Hayden, the source who told Page Six about the alleged sex tape, said that he had clarified to the reporter that he had never seen the purported sex tape but the writer went ahead to write the story.
