Raffaello Follieri, Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend, may have made fake claims. Raffaello’s Follieri Foundation has a website. The site claimed that it gives away discount drug cards for people who need financial assistance to buy pharmacy items.

The press investigated to check if the drugstores were participating in this scheme. There were no replies forthcoming. The company that was supposed to partner in this Follieri project did not exist anymore.

The press made telephone calls to enquire at the Follieri Group but they were unsuccessful. The New York Attorney General’s office would not comment on this incident as it had an ongoing investigation into the Follieri case.
