Bishop T.D. Jakes’ daughter, Sarah Jakes, married Robert Henson.

Sarah Jakes, a daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, has married Robert Henson, a Texas Christian University footballer, on Sat. June 21.

The private wedding service happened at The Potter’s House, a Dallas mega church. Sarah’s father, Bishop Jakes, founded the church. He is a celebrity as he has written bestsellers on advice books. He has public speaking appearances and TV guest slots too.

Celebrities at the wedding included Dr. Phil McGraw, Tyler Perry, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Deion Sanders and Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert. Bishop Noel Jones, from the City of Refuge Church in California, was in charge of the wedding ceremony solemnization.

Sarah studies journalism at the University of Phoenix. Robert studies criminal justice at TCU.
