41857 Joe Arpaio wants Shaquille O’Neal to return badges.

Joe Arpaio.

Joe Arpaio, Maricopa County Sheriff, made Shaquille O’Neal a special deputy in Jan. 2007. Joe promoted Shaq to become a ceremonious colonel in June 2008. Now, he has asked Shaq to return his 2 badges because he could not condone that type of “racial conduct.”

Joe Arpaio was referring to Shaq slamming Kobe Bryant in his rap song. Joe was known as “America’s Toughest Sheriff” because he forced inmates to wear pink underwear and work in the prison’s chain gang.

On the other hand, the Miami Beach Chief of Police, Carlos Noriega, said that Shaquille O’Neal is a valuable asset to his police force and the city of Miami Beach. Shaq had served in his force before.

Shaquille O’Neal also served in the Los Angeles Port Authority as a reserve officer. This police department had no comment on Shaq’s latest rap and the ensuing battle on his reputation.
