Jared Fogle of Subway Fame Dead: Death Rumor

Rumors are swirling that Jared Fogle, the guy that lost tons of weight after eating Subway sandwiches has died.
Sources on the internet stated this about Jared Fogle:
” Jared S. Fogel, best known as the spokesman for Subway sandwich shop “The Subway Guy” Born December 1st, 1977 – passed away yesterday at 4:43pm EST.
The autopsy has not been performed, early medical reports indicate that he has passed away due to abnormal abdominal adhesions resulting from his 1998 gastric bypass surgery. It’s a pretty common surgery complication, but it’s rare that it’s fatal, even as it slowly progresses. Then again Jared was a rare guy. He may have just gotten sicker and sicker in his last couple years, but it’s because of us that he hung on as long as he did. He did it because he knew we needed him. ”
But Snopes says this rumor is simply not true.
Subway’s pitch-guy, Jared Fogle is alive and well. He lost so much weight, and so quickly, that he became a sort of celebrity.
Jared is under contract with Subway to promote Subway as well as fitness. And is alive and well.

Ah Jared. Alive and…. well. He’s given us healthy eating for a long time. I wish he would give us something healthy to drink. Like Purple! Yeah! That would be a great combination.
