Actress Heather Locklear is being treated for psychological “issues” at an Arizona treatment facility.

Heather Locklear has been having severe depression as well as anxiety and has entered a treatment facility to get help.

Her rep confirms this saying, “Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression.” “She requested an in depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released.”

Locklear has been reported to have been on prescription medications for depression for years, but recently has sought help at the inpatient center. Heather’s daughter, 10-year-old daughter, Ava, from her marriage to Richie Sambora, is staying with family.

Heather found fame in series such as Melrose Place, Spin City and Dynasty. More recently has done guest spots on Scrubs, and Rules of Engagement.

Heather had a major public downfall when her one-time friend, Denise Richards, began dating Locklear’s husband, Richie Sambora.

This year, a 911 call was made by Heather Locklear’s psychiatrist, stating that Locklear sounded possibly intoxicated and suicidal.

After her divorce, Locklear has been romantically linked with funny-man, David Spade, as well as current beau, Jack Wagner, her former “Melrose Place” co-star.
