Shooting near Johnny Depp’s “Public Enemies” set.

Johnny Depp is in the midst of filming a new gangster movie called “Public Enemies.” Something happened near the set on Fri. June 20, 12:30 pm.

Chicago police had arrested a juvenile for firing a weapon near a car. The location was at the 1300 block of W 19^th Street in Chicago. This place was near to the South Side set of Johnny Depp’s movie, “Public Enemies.” The arrested kid was charged with the unlawful use of a weapon.

Johnny arrived for work on his set about half an hour after the shooting. He plays John Dillinger, a criminal in the movie. The film is an adaptation of the book, “Public Enemies: America’s Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI 1933 – 43.”
