Chaz Shepherd’s “The First One” on Steve Harvey Radio Show.

Chaz Shepherd appeared as a guest on the Steve Harvey Radio Show on Friday, June 20, 2008. He performed a few songs from his new album, “The First One”, to promote them.

Chaz had formerly co-starred with Harvey on “Me and The Boys.” Chaz Shepherd, aka Chaz Lamar Shepherd, started his career in Philadelphia. He started singing in church and at major functions in Philly. He became a celebrity in 1993 when he won the 1993 Star Search champion and $100,000 as a cash prize. He had his first recording contract with Atlanta Records in 1997.

Chaz has made guest appearances in “The Game”, “Touched By An Angel” and “Seventh Heaven. “ He also acted on stage in Oprah Winfrey’s “The Color Purple.”
