Martha Stewart is banned from the UK.

Posted on June 20, 2008

Martha Stewart has been banned from entering the UK. She had applied for a visa but was rejected. She had planned to tour the UK and visit the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

Apparently, Martha Stewart’s request for a visa was rejected because of her past record. Martha had been jailed for 5 months in a federal prison in US. She had been convicted of conspiracy and lying to the Federal government.

Martha Stewart is represented by “Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.” Charles Koppelman, the chairman of this organization, said that Martha loved England. Martha had the country and culture close in her heart. She had plans to be engaged in business with British companies and hoped that her visa problem would be resolved soon.
