Billy Ray Cyrus talks about Miley Cyrus in Vanity Fair.

Billy Ray Cyrus appeared in an interview on the TODAY website. He was promoting Nashville Star. The host, Meredith, asked him about his daughter, Miley Cyrus, in the Vanity Fair photos.

Billy said he did not know that the camera crew had intentions to strip Miley and wrap her in a blanket. He was not around at the shoot at the time when they took those pictures. He was surprised when he saw the photos. He has accepted the episode and moved on.

Billy said that he did not complain about the photos because his father taught him not to engage in nasty mistakes again. He has moved on to forget about the issue.
