Meghan McCain, John McCain’s daughter, is writing a picture book on her father.

Meghan’s book is yet to be titled. The publisher has announced that it will be ready in the beginning of September 2008. This would coincide with the Republican national convention.

Simon & Schuster, Meghan’s publisher, has issued a press release. Meghan is quoted as saying that she is excited about this opportunity to present her father as a fantastic dad and great American. The book will contain a biography and other important events in the life of John McCain.

The publisher said that a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. This helps the wounded veterans and military personnel.
