Queen Latifah was reported to be planning to marry her partner, Jeannette Jenkins. They have known each other for the past 5 years.

Queen Latifah had been reluctant to discuss about her relationship with Jeannette. In 2007, she told Ebony magazine that she would refuse to comment on rumors about Jeannette being her girlfriend. She acknowledged the concern of her fans and said that they were close to her but she would not disclose details on who she bedded.

Queen Latifah and Jeannette had planned for a close wedding ceremony with family and friends. They might adopt an American baby later on.
