Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse’s Hubby Pleads Guilty

On the heels of Amy Winehouse giving a public apology for her racist comments on a video recorded by Blake Fielder-Civil, Blake pleads guilty to an attack on a pub owner.

Amy Winehouse’s hubby admits to beating up the pub landlord and then attempting to cover his actions.

Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, entered into a guilty plea to inflicting grievous bodily harm on James King, 36, and of perverting the course of justice by attempting to have a witness dismissed from the trial proceedings.

The guilty plea was actually submitted last week but could not be reported on until the ban on the publication was lifted by the judge, Judge David Radford.

Amy Winehouse married Blake last year in May. She has visited the court to show her support of him. During the proceedings, Amy gazed adoringly at Blake as he bobbed and smiled at her in the dock. Blake has been in Pentonville prison since mid-December.

The man that was attacked, James King, 36, required medical treatment after the incident at the Macbeth pub in Hoxton, east London in June 2006, allegedly involving Fielder-Civil and another man. Blake is accused of attempting to bribe King into withdrawing his statement in the grievous bodily harm case against him.
