Kate Middleton’s new situation.

The press has revealed that Queen Elizabeth told Prince William not to announce his engagement to Kate Middleton until she found a job. The Queen was concerned that a marriage proposal at their ages was premature.

The Queen believed in the practical side of a working Royal. Kate should not be seen as a dependant on Prince William. She had discussions with her trusted friends and came to the conclusion that Kate should set an example by having a job.

Kate has been a photographer for Party Pieces, a website that did mail order for children’s party gifts. The company was owned by her parents. Her brother owned The Cake Kit Company, a sister company to Party Pieces. Kate has been the photographer for both websites.
