Mary McCormack is “In Plain Sight.”

Mary McCormack starred in the TV series, “In Plain Sight.” She played Mary Shannon, a federal agent, who worked in the witness protection program. Mary had to protect witnesses from being killed. Simultaneously, she had to work on her problems in her dysfunctional family.

The show was interesting as Mary and her partner Marshall (played by Frederick Weller) went through their paces to help people who were uprooted and interrupted in their lives. The witnesses were re-located to Albuquerque to enroll in the witness program.

There was a fair amount of drama as people struggled to cope with unwelcomed changes and insecurities upon relocation. There would be a new set of reel characters every week and the viewers would be brought through the struggles of each family as they cope with their new lives.
