Sharon Stone Inserts Foot in Mouth Saying China Earthquake was Karma for Tibet
Posted on May 28, 2008Sharon Stone really needs to only speak when she has a good script! Recently, Sharon Stone showed her ignorance by speaking out about the devastating earthquake in China, that killed nearly 67,000 people.
Stone, 50, was speaking at a press conference at the Cannes film festival, when she criticised the Chinese government’s actions in Tibet and inferred they were to blame for the disaster:
“I’ve been concerned about how should we deal with the Olympics, because they are not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine,” she said.
“And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma - when you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”
It’s being reported the You Tube video of Stone making the comments has made many in the community furious as well as angered those in the Chinese film industry. Ng See-Yuen, chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Film-makers and the founder of the UME Cineplex chain, made a statement to the The Beijing Times that her comments were “inappropriate” and that his cinema chain would no longer screen any films starring Sharon Stone.
Perhaps it’s “karma” this time around for Stone, who can’t seem to keep her foot out her mouth in the media. Do you think Stone was way out of line with her comments made in Cannes?

THE BIRTH OF MONGOL WILLIS TOO?
Sharon Stone will be abandoned by producers and dumped by brands. It will be her Karma.
All Chinese should not buy any product selling by “SHARON STONE” . She better sell a product mean “Karma” for those people who love her only.
