Chris Cagle & Jennifer Tant were arrested.

Chris Cagle, 39, the country music singer, was arrested for domestic assault on Wednesday, May 28, 2008. He had a fight with his girlfriend, Jennifer Tant. Her photo is pasted below.

Police said that the couple was drunk and their argument became physical. They were sent to jail on misdemeanor domestic assault charges. They had to stay in jail for the compulsory 12 hours before they were allowed to post bond at $1500 per person.

Chris had another misdemeanor charge. He was scheduled to stand trial on September 23 in Tucson, Arizona. He was charged with hitting Mark Barry after Mark’s girlfriend was verbally abusive toward Chris. It happened after a benefit concert on Dec. 13 2007.

Chris’ record company was Capitol Nashville. The spokeswoman said she had no comment for the press.
