Duane “Dog” Chapman was lucky that the criminal charges related to his capture of the fugitive, Andrew Luster, were dismissed. A Mexican judge and panel dismissed the case of alleged abduction.
“Dog the Bounty Hunter” was produced by A & E Television Networks. They were being sued by Boris Krutunog for royalties, salary and compensation. Boris claimed that he was unpaid for the 4th season of the show.
Boris claimed in his lawsuit that he was abused by Duane Chapman and his wife, Beth Chapman. The TV producer of the show, David Houts, had passed the buck on Boris’ lawsuit to A & E. A & E’s spokesman, Dan Silberman had refused to comment as litigation was sought.
