Drew Peterson & Stacy Peterson case.

Drew Peterson received a notice that the police had a warrant for his arrest. The charge was for the felony of unlawful use of a weapon.

Drew had a rifle with a barrel that was less than 16 inches and that was against the law. He surrendered to state police on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. He managed to post 10% of his $75,000 bond and was released on the same afternoon.

Drew has been in the spotlight since he was named as a suspect in the case of his missing fourth wife, Stacy Peterson. Stacy, 23, disappeared on October 28, 2007. Drew’s third wife, Kathleen Savio, drowned in her bath tub under mysterious circumstances. Drew denied any wrong doing in both cases.

Drew’s defense attorney, Joel Brodsky, said that this recent arrest was part of the state police’s efforts to harass Drew.
