The Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz wedding.

Ashlee Simpson married Pete Wentz on Saturday, May 17, 2008. The reception was held at her parents’ home in Los Angeles and it had an “Alice in Wonderland” theme.

Ashlee, 23, wore a wedding dress designed by Monique Lhuillier. She had matching diamond ear rings and necklace to accessorize her wedding gown. Ashlee and Pete Wentz, 28, said their vows with 150 witnesses/ guests.

Joe Simpson presided over the non-denominational wedding ceremony. Jessica was her sister’s maid of honor. Pete’s English bull dog, Hemingway, was the ring bearer.

Ashlee and Pete had been dating for almost a year. Pete said that they were best friends and past their honeymoon period. This was the first marriage for the both of them.
