Brooke Smith adopts baby girl from Ethiopia.

Brooke Smith, an actress in Grey’s Anatomy, has adopted a baby girl from Ethiopia. Her representative has confirmed this news to People magazine.

Brooke now has 2 daughters. She had her first daughter, Fanny, with her husband, Stephen Lubensky. Fanny is now 5 years old.

Stephen is a cinematographer. Brooke said that Stephen and herself had traveled to Africa several times. They filmed a documentary on conservationists in Zimbabwe. She said that they might settle in Africa one day.

Brooke almost gave up on her acting career when she decided to get her real estate license and change her career. Luckily, she landed roles in “Six Feet Under”, “Crossing Jordan” and “Weeds.”
