On May 12, “How I Met Your Mother” had the episode named as “Everything Must Go.” This played out the scene where Marshall and Lily decided to sell away some of their belongings to get some cash for their rising expenses. The sales would be made online, through the site – Lily and Marshall Sell Their Stuff dot com.

Surfers who keyed in the site to access Lily and Marshall Sell Their Stuff dot com (LilyandMarshallSellTheirStuff.com) were automatically re-directed to charityfolks.com (actual url http://www.charityfolks.com/cfauctions/auction_verticalngo.asp?slrid=76).

This was because 20^th Century Fox’s “How I Met Your Mother” has organized a charity auction to sell away souvenirs from the set of the show. The proceeds from this online auction would benefit the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
