American Idol reject Colin Leahy was arrested.

When Colin Leahy was 19, he auditioned for season three of American Idol. Now, he has been arrested for sending sexual messages to a 12 year old teenaged boy. Colin has also been accused of propositioning a 10 year old while working as a volunteer at a Broooklyn elementary school.

Colin sent more than 29 messages to the 12 year old boy. Colin told investigators that he was just curious about whether the boy was gay.

While Colin was auditioning for American Idol, he told the judges that Clay Aiken and himself were once fellow camp counselors. He considered himself on par with Clay. Simon told him that his audition was bad.
