Eddy Arnold died on Thursday morning, May 8 2008. He passed away at a care center near Nashville. Eddy was one of the most successful country singers in the history of US music.

Eddy Arnold’s wife, Sally Arnold, had died in March 2008. During March, Eddy suffered a fall and injured his hip.
