American Idol results May 7.

Jason Castro was sent home based on American Idol May 7 results. Jason was resigned to his fate after being told off by Simon Cowell on Tuesday night.

Jason managed to smile even after learning the result. He knew all along that his inexperience made him crack up as the competition grew more intense. He smiled throughout his swan song. He did not mind being axed.

He had started off this season’s American Idol as a strong singer but became progressively weaker towards the end. He confessed that sometimes, his brain was dead.

Next week, the heat turns up with the final three consisting of David Cook, David Archuleta and Syesha Mercado.
