Dancing with the Stars celebrated their 100th episode on May 6. Everybody was happy except Mario Lopez, the R & B singer, and his dance partner, Karina Smirnoff. This couple was eliminated on Tuesday, May 6, 2008.
The reason for the boot could have been Mario’s Latin dance. Mario was placed third in the line up after the judges made their decision on Monday.
Cheryl Burke, the professional dance partner for Christian de la Fuente, choreographed their tango and mambo dances for this week. Cheryl made Christian use his good arm and avoided his bad left arm. Christian needed surgery for his injury but he has delayed the treatment because he wanted to compete in the show.
