Robbie Knievel wants to outdo Evel Knievel.
Posted on May 5, 2008Evel Knievel, aka Robert Craig Knievel, died in Nov 30, 2007, but his legacy lives on. His son, Robbie Knievel, is an accomplished motorbike stunt driver. Robbie Knievel has announced plans to jump over 24 trucks at King’s Island on May 24 2008.
The 24 Coke Zero trucks would be parked side by side. If Robbie achieves success in this feat, he would set a record that surpasses his father’s. Evel Knievel jumped over 14 Greyhound buses in 1975.
Robbie Knievel’s stunt would be the last jump in his 37 year career before his retirement. He has made 250 jumps in his professional career. King’s Island is a park that admits visitors with tickets. Visitors get to watch the jump for free as it is inclusive with the park’s admission.
