Jennifer Barretta would appear on the big screen as Gail, a professional 9 ball player, in the movie, “9 Ball.” Jennifer is a real life pool player. She won the Empress Cup in Korea recently.

Jennifer played Gail, who broke away from her exploitative uncle. Her uncle made use of her to hustle in the back rooms of bars to get money. Gail desired to go on the professional circuit to become the Women’s World 9-Ball Champion.

There was a 9 Ball tournament held in Las Vegas to do the casting for the player that would appear in the movie to challenge Jennifer’s character. There were 8 contestants. Vann Dorn won the tournament and got a role in the movie, “9 Ball.” Vann Dorn’s photo is pasted below.
