Will Ferrell’s stunt bear killed his trainer.

Will Ferrell had a bear named Rocky in his movie, “Semi-Pro.” This bear has bitten one of his trainers, Stephan Miller, on his neck. Stephan, 39, has died, probably due to blood loss.

The other two trainers tried to disengage Rocky from Stephan when the bear attacked him but it was too late. Rocky was hand raised from birth and having attacked a human, it would be probably be put down.

The death occurred at Predators in Action, a training center for animals, in San Bernardino mountains, about 100 miles from LA. The center was run by Randy Miller, the deceased man’s cousin. Randy played Will Ferrell’s stunt body double in the movie.
