Cynthia Nixon’s two secrets are revealed.

“Sex and the City” celebrity actress Cynthia Nixon gave her first interview to talk about her battle against breast cancer. Cynthia, 42, played Miranda, in the show.

Cynthia discovered she had cancer 18 months ago but kept it a secret. She revealed that she had her surgery scheduled on a Sunday so that she would not miss acting in her Broadway play that was on-going at that time.

Cynthia told that her lesbian partner, Christine Marinoni, was very scared about the cancer crisis. Christine showed more symptoms of stress than she did. Cynthia said that she had suspected that she would get the disease because her mther had it when she was 12 years old. She decided to go public on her cancer and lesbian partner after she was made the official ambassador for “Susan G. Komen for the Cure”, the world’s largest breast cancer organisation.
