Elle MacPherson had designs on George Clooney.

When George Clooney was in London to promote Leatherheads, Elle MacPherson threw herself at him. A secretive source who told the story revealed that although Elle had a cold sore on her lip, she did not pass up the opportunity to give her best shot at the handsome actor.

When the reporter asked George if he was tempted by a British beauty or someone in the UK, George answered that he had been tempted before. It was more likely that George was teasing the reporter as there were thick rumors about his being secretly engaged to Sarah Larson. They were supposedly planning a summer wedding at one of his villas.
