Cate Blanchett & Andrew Upton welcome third son, Ignatius.

Cate Blanchett has delivered her third child in Sydney. Cate and her husband Andrew Upton welcomed their son, Ignatius Martin Upton, into the world on Sunday, April 13, 2008.

This would be their third son. Their other two sons are Dashiell John, 6, and Roman Robert, 3. Their spokesman confirmed the birth and said that both Cate and her son Ignatius were doing well.

Cate has a role in “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” She would be returning to work as Agent Spalko and act along with Harrison Ford.

Recently, Cate was chosen by Australia’s Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to be the head of an organization on using the role of arts in Australia. She would have her hands full with all her work.
