Miss Texas Crystle Stewart is crowned Miss USA 2008 – photos.

Crystle Stewart, 26, from Missouri City, Texas, won the Miss USA 2008 beauty pageant. She beat 50 other contestants for the crown.

Crystle was self-employed, and ran a party planner and motivational speaking company. She said she would dedicate her life to international philanthropy but was heading for Hollywood soon. She had won another beauty title previously when she was Miss Tennessee USA.

Crystle told about her love for traveling. She would spread her message of self-improvement to women. She was proud to be one of the handful of black women who was crowned Miss USA in the beauty pageant’s history of 57 years.
