Pete Doherty is imprisoned.

Pete Doherty was apprehended and sent to prison for 14 weeks. He had flouted his bail conditions repeatedly and the judge passed the sentence on him. He would probably need to serve only 7 weeks of the sentence after some deductions are made if he shows his best behavior while incarcerated.

Pete’s record company was unhappy over this. They immediately released a statement to say that a scheduled concert on April 26, at the Royal Albert Hall Show was cancelled. Those who bought tickets should hold on to them as they will be valid for the new show that would be held to replace the cancelled one.
