David Beckham’s brush with the law.

David Beckham was booked off pitch. He made an illegal left turn at a junction that allowed only right turns. This was at the junction of Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in West Hollywood.
A traffic cop was lying in wait somewhere and immediately stopped David in his tracks. David retained his cool. He was fined $160 on the spot and received one point as a demerit on his driving licence.
David leads a charmed life and he had cause to smile. The $160 hardly made any impact on him. At the end of 2007, he regained his position as the world’s highest paid footballer. He supposedly made $50 million in 2007 alone.
