Geri Halliwell & Flipz Velez at “American Idol Gives Back.”

Geri Halliwell is dating Ivan “Flipz” Velez, a back-up dancer from her Spice Girls tour. He was more well-known by his nick-name, Flipz. She was accompanied by Flipz when she attended the taping of American Idol Gives Back 2008 in Hollywood on Sunday night. Geri held hands with him and was comfortable to be seen in public with him and on intimate terms too.

Geri and Flipz have met each other on and off while she was working on her music album and concerts. Flipz was the teacher who coached Cruz Beckham to do his break-dancing steps. Flipz and Geri had the chance to renew their friendship when the Spice Girls went on their Reunion tour.
