Lily Allen can’t judge.

Lily Allen resigned from her post as a judge on the Orange Prize. The organizers have confirmed this fact. Lily had shown signs of cracking after she missed two personal attendances at the judges meetings.

Lily’s manager said that Lily was suffering from ill health and could no longer continue her duties judging the women’s literary award. Her spokesman said that Lily had read extensively for the first stage of the judging process but later found that she could not commit 100% to the role.

Lily Allen happened to be the youngest judge to be selected for the panel to award the $60,000 prize to the most deserving work.
