David Cook fell ill. He had broken down before previously because he had tremendous pressure. His brother was sick with cancer. He tried hard to pull himself together and went on with the shows.

On Tuesday night, David felt very sick. He elected to stay on until the end of the show. He was rushed to a hospital but treated by a private doctor to keep it confidential. David was prescribed medication for high blood pressure and released. His health will be monitored again 1 week later.
