Donald Trump has selected his Celebrity Apprentice – Piers Morgan. He triumphed after 12 weeks of fierce competition with 13 contestants. Piers was an ex tabloid editor. He was also a judge on the US America’s Got Talent show. Piers called his celebrity friends to help him raise funds for his charity. He managed to raise $340,000 in an auction. The charity’s beneficiaries were the families of dead or injured soldiers.

Piers had help from Simon Cowell. Simon called from his London home. He bid about $100,000 for a dinner and shopping trip with Ivanka, Donald Trump’s daughter.
The biggest bid was from Howard Lutnik, the boss of Cantor Fitzgerald, a financial firm. He offered around $200,000 for a date with the Duchess of York and performance by Ozzy Osbourne.
